The Scholarship in Educational Leadership and Management Journal is a quarterly academic journal published in Iran by the Academy of Sciences Press under the authorization of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, registration number 94189, dated 20/12/1402 .

The primary aim of this journal is to advance knowledge in educational leadership and management as a distinct field of study and an independent academic discipline. The journal’s thematic scope encompasses macro-, meso-, and micro-level educational leadership and management, with particular emphasis on general education and school-related affairs.

The Scholarship in Educational Leadership and Management Journal welcomes submissions from scholars and researchers. The journal accepts original research articles in the field of educational leadership and management that have not previously been published in scientific journals and are not under consideration elsewhere. Articles that have been presented at academic seminars or conferences may also be considered for publication, provided that the full paper has not been published in the corresponding conference proceedings. The primary language of the journal is Persian, and each article includes an English abstract.

Expected characteristics of submitted manuscripts:
1. Presentation of an original and emerging  concept or theory  in the field of educational leadership and management.  
2. Introduction or critical analysis of  existing theories  of educational leadership and management in Iran and internationally.  
3. Introduction or critical examination of influential scholars in the field of educational leadership and management in Iran and worldwide.  
4. Introduction or critical review of influential sources (including books or articles) in the field of educational leadership and management in Iran and internationally.  
5. Introduction of influential institutions, organizations, and professional associations  related to educational leadership and management in Iran and around the world.  
6. Comparative studies in the field of educational leadership and management.  
7. Comprehensive review articles, including various forms of systematic reviews, within the field of educational leadership and management.

Manuscript Review Process
1. Submitted manuscripts are initially screened by the Editor-in-Chief. If the manuscript demonstrates minimum alignment with the journal’s scope and expectations, it proceeds to the peer-review process; otherwise, it will be rejected at this stage.  
2. Manuscripts that meet the preliminary requirements are sent to two expert reviewers  for evaluation.

The Scholarship in Educational Leadership and Management Journal adheres to the principles of publication ethics and follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). It also complies with the executive regulations of the law on **the prevention and handling of academic misconduct in scholarly works**.

The journal’s primary policy is to provide open and unrestricted access (Open Access) to all published articles.

The Scholarship in Educational Leadership and Management Journal is published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) license, which allows users to use and share the content of the articles provided that proper citation to the original publication in this journal is given.
