The present article adopts an interpretive and critical approach to examine the educational leadership perspective and its discourses as presented in The Palgrave International Handbook of Educational Leadership Discourses, edited by Fenwick W. English. This book is considered one of the prominent and comprehensive resources in the field of educational leadership and management studies. It explores the concepts and foundations of educational leadership as a form of discourse through a multidimensional and critical lens. Specifically, the book focuses on the role of metaphors, narratives, and critical discourses in shaping leadership theories and practices. It strives to provide a comprehensive picture of the complexities of educational leadership in today's world, making a significant contribution to deepening the understanding of leadership and enhancing related discourses within the field of educational leadership studies
