The aim of this article is to familiarize school principals, as leaders of change projects, with how to manage changes and implement new programs and activities in schools. To this end, it outlines the stages of organizational change, barriers to change, resistance from individuals (staff) to changes, types of resistance, the roots of teachers’ (employees’) opposition to change, the change team, and the role of school management and leadership in change projects.
